Dear Parents and Players,
We hope this finds you well and we thank you for your patience as we continue to monitor this ever-evolving situation. AYSO National announced late last week, all AYSO activities are and will remain postponed until further notice. We are in contact with the AYSO Office and National Board of Directors as well as our local Public Health office to monitor the developing updates and determine our next course of action.
We understand that this has created a great amount of uncertainty, but please know that as eager as we are to get back on the field, we want to take the responsible steps to help stem the spread of Coronavirus and protect the most vulnerable.
Even though we can’t be on the field together, doesn’t mean we can’t stay active. Visit the AYSO website for a list of activities and ideas to keep your entire family active, engaged and positive during this time: https://ayso.org/ayso-resources-what-to-do-during-your-break-from-the-soccer-field/ Make sure to follow the AYSO National social media pages for some interactive challenges, videos and helpful resources. You can keep updated on information from the CDC as well as links to State and Local Health Departments by visiting: https://www.aysovolunteers.org/coronavirus-update-and-prevention-tips/.
As the situation continues to evolve, we may make other changes but know that with every decision, we vow to make them with you and our families in mind, as we stay true to our vision and mission of enriching families’ lives.
Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns and visit our website: www.ayso574.org and follow our social media to stay updated. Thank you for your patience and being a valued member of our AYSO community!
Sincerely,
Your AYSO Region 574 Board
