Hi AYSO Parents and Volunteers,

The local board and I appreciate your patience and understanding as we have been navigating the Spring season during this uncertain time.

We have decided we are at the point that we will not have a Spring season.  We are in the process of working with our national AYSO office to help refund your registration fees.  We will be issuing a credit back to the same credit card used to pay for registration.  The timing of the credit will be mid/late May.  If you would like to donate your registration fees (which we would greatly appreciate), then please email me back by May 9th.  We thank you for your generosity.

We are planning to opening fall registration via our website on June 1st.  And we are working on planning some summer camps/activities to help keep the kids active and involved.  This is highly dependent on the status of when things open up and any guidelines that are imposed at that time.  We will send more information about this in the upcoming weeks on email, our website, and our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/ayso574/).

Again we appreciate your patience and understanding.  Your family's health is a priority for us and hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.

Thank you and Best Regards,

Pete Riethmeier
AYSO Region 574 – Regional Commissioner

Even though we can’t be on the field together, doesn’t mean we can’t stay active.  Visit the AYSO website for a list of activities and ideas to keep your entire family active, engaged and positive during this time:  https://ayso.org/ayso-resources-what-to-do-during-your-break-from-the-soccer-field/   Make sure to follow the AYSO National social media pages for some interactive challenges, videos and helpful resources.  You can keep updated on information from the CDC as well as links to State and Local Health Departments by visiting:  https://www.aysovolunteers.org/coronavirus-update-and-prevention-tips/.

As the situation continues to evolve, we may make other changes but know that with every decision, we vow to make them with you and our families in mind, as we stay true to our vision and mission of enriching families’ lives.

Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns and visit our website (www.ayso574.org) and follow our social media to stay updated.  Thank you for your patience and being a valued member of our AYSO community!
