UPCOMING MEETING AND TRAINING DATES:
What do I need to be a Referee?
1. Volunteer Form - all referees (youth or adult) must complete and electronically sign. Volunteer forms are completed every fiscal soccer year (beginning fall season). Youth referees are required to carry a copy with their gear.
2. Safe Haven Training – a one-time training that needs to be completed prior to first game. AYSO ID# is required for this training which is obtained from the volunteer form in step 1. It is recommended to complete safe haven before taking first referee course.
3. CDC Concussion Training –state of Michigan mandated training for all youth sports. AYSO ID# is required for this training.
Referee Training:
· U8 Official – certified for U8 (under 8 years old) and younger games. (At least 10)
· Assistant Referee – certified for U10 and younger games as an assistant. (At least 12)
· Basic Referee – certified for U10 and younger games as center or assistant. (At least 12)

5 pm - 8 pm

Prior to doing so, make sure you are a registered volunteer in our region.
