2026 Fall Program

FALL 2026 AYSO 574 Youth Soccer Registration Information

Early Bird Registration – May 18, 2026 Through June 7, 2026

Regular Registration – June 8, 2026 – July 31, 2026

Late Registration (at additional charge, and is wait list ONLY to fill teams) August 1 - August 8 (no guarantee that Late Registration Uniforms will be the correct size)

**At this time, no special requests for teammates or coaches will be honored.**

Players must be born in 2022, or 2023 - turning 3 before season start (turn 3 by the first 5U game on September 12, 2026), to play in FALL 2026. PLEASE NOTE: 2023 birth year players should NOT have separation issues, and should be the more active and assertive children of their age group. AYSO has partnered with Sports Connect to enhance the registration process. Regular Registration ends July 31st. Please go to www.ayso574.org and do the following:

How to Register

~At the top right, choose the “LOGIN” link at if you already have an account, or choose “REGISTER NOW” if you have not yet created an account.

~If a member of the family other than the parent/guardian signing up the player(s) will be Volunteering as a Coach, Board Member or Referee, they will need to create their own account with their own email/login and password.

~When asked where do you want to register, choose “2026 FALL” (please note the VIP division is for players with disabilities that would prevent them from playing in a mainstream program, and may not be available this season)

~Answer all of the questions on the form.

~If you have questions, choose the “Support” button at the bottom left hand corner for more information.

~The ONLY payment accepted at this time is Online payment via credit card. Cash or check can no longer be accepted.

FALL 2026 Season Costs (less processing fees):

Regular Registration is $85 (which for the FALL 2026 DOES include the uniform fee), in addition the AYSO national membership fee of $25* (paid once per year which covers both the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 seasons). The ALREADY INCLUDED uniform fee is for a uniform purchased in Fall of 2026, that will also be used in Spring 2027. Regular Registration ends July 31st, 2026. Late Registration ends August 8th and includes a $10 Late Registration Fee.

ONLY U10, U12, and U14 will be able to opt out of a uniform purchase.

* Please note: the $25 AYSO National Membership fee is paid once per soccer/school year (ie, Fall 2026/Spring 2027 is one year) and is non-refundable. There is also a $3.50 processing fee per check-out that is also non-refundable. *

** U8 and under will have individual team colors (as we did prior to Covid) starting the FALL 2022 Season. NEW players in U10, and those in younger (U5, U6, U8) Divisions WILL need the NEW UNIFORM!!! This Uniform is used for the Fall 2026 AND Spring 2027 season. U10 and older will use Reversible Blue/Light Gray uniforms that can be re-used from season to season moving forward (unless a uniform is lost or outgrown).

Equipment Requirements

- Shin guards MUST be worn under socks

- Soccer cleats

- Age-appropriate soccer ball (U5-U8 size 3; U10 & U12 size 4; U14+ size 5)

- NO Jewelry whatsoever, including earrings – they MUST be removed. Do not get new piercing anytime close to the beginning of the season.

- NO hair beads, or hard barrettes

- NO watches, chains, friendship bracelets or similar

Fall 2025 tentative Season Layout

** Pre-Season – Week of August31^st – September4^th – Coach's Meeting - 1 hour Date and Time TBD

U12, and U14;

** Week 1 of the season – September 8th - 10th (T-Th) will be focused on "train the trainer for coaches" - Divisions U5 through U8 (both Girls and Boys). We should hopefully be able to hand out uniforms to coaches at these practices.

** Week 2 - 7 of the season – September 12 (Saturday) – October 24 (Saturday) will be regular season play. This will normally consist of 1 weekday practice and 1 game on Saturday each week. Team practices are at the discretion of the coach (usually U10 and up).

** Final Saturday of the season (October 24) will be the FINAL regular season game for the younger age groups (ie, U5 to U8), and 1^st(or continuing) Tournament games for the U10 and U12 teams; and regular games for 14U.

** Final Weekday games (October 26-30^th) are for U10 and up ONLY. If needed, U10 and U12 will finish their tournament. U14 may have games, depending on what can be scheduled.

FALL 2026 Game Schedule

Mondays: U6 Boys and U10 Girls – Game start times staggered at 5:45/6:00

Tuesdays: U8 Boys and U12 Co-ed - Game start times staggered at 5:45/6:00

Wednesdays: U6 Girls and U10 Boys - Game start times staggered at 5:45/6:00

Thursdays: U5 Boys, U5 Girls, U8 Girls; U12 Co-ed; U14 Coed - Game start times staggered at 5:45/6:00

Saturdays: ALL Divisions, U5 thru U14

TRAINING SESSIONS

10U Girls and 10U Boys – U10 will have a Division wide training (1.5-2hr) prior to the start of the season to go over all of the changes from 8U to 10U (Goal Keeper, Build out line, off-sides, how offensive and defensive players work with the Keeper, direct/indirect kicks, Referees and their calls, etc.) This training will most likely be offered on two different dates - TBD.

** U12 and U14 Saturday games will be a minimum of 50% Home games at Maiden Lane Soccer Complex. Away games will be at other AYSO fields in Southwest Michigan, or at SWM/Lakeshore on Rockey Weed.

The division your child is in is based on August 1-July 31 birth year. This is the same for almost all soccer leagues in Southwest MI. Below is a chart for your reference:
